It was in 1935, three decades before the Equal Pay Art, that IBM recruited its first professional women, and IBM ’ s Founder T.J Watson Sr. promised women “ the same kind of work for equal pay. ” The IBM Archives actually indicate that we hired our first women back in 1899!
