Critical Knowledge
Strong scientific background in plant tissue culture and genetic transformation
Some knowledge and/or experience in molecular biology
Knowledge of plant genetics, development, physiology and biotechnology
Critical Skills
Experience in plant tissue culture, transformation and relevant media preparation, including sterile technique
Attention to detail and skill in implementing experimental plans
Excellent analytical and communication skills in interpreting and presenting study results
Proficiency in use of standard software (e.g., Excel and PowerPoint); familiarity with databases and DNA manipulation software a plus
Problem-solving ability in the context of plant tissue culture technique and transformation optimization
Demonstrated experience in working effectively as a member of a dynamic technical team
Flexibility in handling new job assignments and achieving results in a rapidly changing work environment
